Not all animal by-products are suitable to be recycled through AD – quite the opposite in fact. The law is very clear in specifying those raw materials which are specified as being only suited for disposal or being unfit for human consumption.

 

This is where ReFood is able to utilise the other recycling processes, such as rendering and biomass-to-energy, operated by the PDM Group – the UK's largest processor of animal by-products.
