ReFood UK – Closed-loop food waste recycling 

ReFood's first AD plant in the UK is at PDM's headquarters in Doncaster. Construction of the new plant started in September 2010 and the multi-million pound plant is due to become operational in Summer 2011.

 

ReFood has developed advanced AD technology, which takes an established agricultural process to an industrial scale.

 

Each ReFood AD plant can recycle 45,000 tonnes of food and drink waste each year. With innovative systems to depackage retail food wastes, ReFood is able to handle all types of waste food products and ensure that all materials are seperated for recycling.
